T-Rex

At my 25 year high school reunion one of my classmates told me how she remembered me drawing dinosaurs in grade school and when Jurassic Park came out she thought how I was way ahead of my time....LOL. I figured I would try my hand at a T-Rex.

Mark Animal

I couldn't decide which animal to depict myself as, so I took a few of my favorites and put them all together in a Dr. Moreau kind of way. I intend on coloring it in photoshop and will post it when that's done.

Rich as a Centaur

Ok, I decided on depicting myself as a centaur. One reason is I have really not tried to do a portrait before and thought it would be cool to try. I really can not remember the last time I did a pencil drawing. My wife, Kim, has not seen me draw and we have been together for 13 years.

New Challenge: YOU AS ANIMAL

The site is named zoo for a few reasons. Anything can be in a zoo, really—all kinds of animals and fun; it describes the wildness in our heads; and we're all different animals when it comes to our art. So for the first challenge, draw yourself as an animal. It can be real or imagined. What would you be? What is it doing? Why did you choose it?
